Many people ask if The Apostles are a
"full-time" group. The answer is no. When asked why,
we often jokingly say, "because we like health insurance!"
All of the men hold full-time career jobs outside of our singing
ministry together. Here is a summary of each:
Garry Beavers -
and his wife, Elizabeth, run a logistics brokerage
company in Little Rock. REG Transportation owns and
operates several semi-rigs and employs a number of drivers in
shipping products across the nation every day.
Rick Smith -
works as the Director of Marketing & Media Services for Tax
Centers of America, Inc., of Russellville, AR; provides
workplace chaplaincy services for five Russellville area Tyson
facilities; and serves as the Interim Pastor of Moreland First
Baptist Church. In his spare time, he also works as a
freelance voice talent for audio/video production and performs
art graphic design and video editing.
Daran Robertson
- is employed by the City of Haskell, AR as their code
enforcement officer. Daran has had a long career in
building construction inspection and code enforcement.
Steve Williams
- works as a cabinet maker and serves as a managing supervisor
for Kaufman Lumber Company, one of the leading providers in the
Little Rock market.
